The Unlockdown Hotel

The first parisian hotel that made you leave Paris after the lockdown.

After the first Covid-19 lockdown in France, from March to July 2020, people were tired of staying confined and needed some new way of traveling, without risks.

To give them a refreshing take on their “liberté”, we created The Unlockdown Hotel: the first real luxury parisian hotel that finally makes you leave Paris, without giving up on comfort.

In collaboration with the C.O.Q. Hotel and its interior designer, Pauline d’Hoop, we created the Rooms 51 and 52. Two real C.O.Q. Hotel rooms built inside our VW Grand California camper vans.

On board, travelers could find luxury products, bed sheets exclusively Made in France, iPads, a large screen to watch movies outdoors and even food and drinks cooked and selected by the chef of a gastronomic restaurant.

The two rooms are still available for booking on Staycation where travelers can choose between 5 weekend routes around Paris.

Within 12 hours, both rooms and all trips were fully booked for the entire summer. Generating 50+ international media and influencers impressions. In 2021, the concept and our two Grand California are planned for Sydney, New York and

Rio de Janeiro.
